We often provide teachers with an opportunity for professional growth by organizing and sponsoring educational workshops and master classes. A professional music school is designed to provide students with an excellent music education. Teachers who are not associated with top-notch music schools due to their lack of experience or education, lack of facilities, lack of expertise and lack of success with their students are often those who are willing to drive to students’ home. It’s not always the case but in general, a teacher willing to drive to your home, will not be as highly experienced and skilled than those in a professional music school.

Great energy and sense of community

Students are more motivated by observing other students learn in a professional music school environment. Peer pressure, in the best sense of the term, is in play when students participate in rehearsals and share their practicing experiences. Our group lessons are also an excellent opportunity for our students to get to know each other and meet other teachers they normally do no see on a regular basis. When students play for each other in preparation for recitals and for class performance, there is a sense of purpose in being prepared for their class. The great energy to watch other classes while waiting sets the mood to be ready to learn and embrace the music environment even before a lesson starts.

Professional settings

With fine instruments, equipment, dedicated teachers and equipped classrooms, students can truly focus on learning. There are no distractions at a music school; whereas at the student’s home the students are subjected to the phone ringing, the dog barking, sometimes the TV on the background, interruptions by other family members. At home, the teacher might not have all the necessary resources with them to further enrich student’s learning experience and target his individual styles. There is no white board, copy machine, music stand, and sometimes a less than desirable-quality instrument in the home.

Performance Opportunities

Coming to a professional music school you will have opportunity to perform and experience playing on a stage, the kind of experience they often dream of when they watch their favorite performer on TV. Our Recitals are especial events for family and friends to celebrate the progress that has been made and for the student to take pride of their accomplishments.

Schedule and billing

A professional music school takes care of billing and scheduling so the teachers can focus only on what they do best – teaching. Musicians are stereotypically uncomfortable with the business aspect of music lessons. At Vivace Music Academy, students, parents and teachers love our automated billing system, especially because it enables all of us to focus on the things that matter the most: our students and our passion for music!
